With a fleet of four ambulances, two in Hazen and two in Beulah, Mercer County Ambulance serves an area of more than 1000 square miles, with an on-call crew in each community 24 hours a day. Mercer County Ambulance has a total of 5 employees and 40 active volunteers, a combination of paramedics, EMT-Intermediates, EMT-Basics, First Responders, and CPR drivers. Together, these EMS providers cover more than 35,000 hours of call time and approximately 600 ambulance runs each year. |
